Christmas this Year
Earlier this month I was thinking about how we could incorporate Christ even more in every Christmas season and not get carried away with the commercial view that the world has. Well, I was thinking about our decorations and what we already had. Turns out the majority of our ornaments are about Christ. I was amazed that, that has happened. It happened on accident. So we are going to try to make each new ornament that we might buy have something to do with the Savior, since this is the time of year we celebrate his miraculous birth. Also, we have tried to talk to the children about His birth everyday to make sure they understand the true meaning of Christmas. May God bless everyone and that everyone can remember this season through out the year not just this time of year. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!

The Gingerbread Making Never Ends
Here we are of Day 3 on our Gingerbread house making marothon. We went over to the Haws' place to decorate houses with them. It was their 1st time, but our 3rd time this year. Hopefully this is our last time. Man, what were we thinking. I am soooo sick of sugar, at least the kids had fun playing with Hunter and Preston. Alexis sat in her high chair and crammed a frosting covered graham cracker all over her hair and body. The kids only stuck around to eat the candy and nothing more.

Ginger bread houses continued
We decided to get together with some people and make ginger bread houses. We used graham crackers and hot glue. We thought it would be a good idea to hot glue the kids together because we thought it would go faster. Well, we went back and we found that Rylee had eaten all of her house except for two lines of glue where the sides had been glued together. It looked like her house had been in a fire.

Holiday Cheer
So, on Thursday, Spencer and I were waiting in line at Fry's to check out. When all of a sudden we hear this man in the line next to us yell HEY WHAT IS THIS!! At first we thought he was kidding with the cashier. Then he starts ranting and raving at the cashier about he thought the cashier had called him over to be rang up first. He kicks the guy in front of him out of line. Get this though, the guy in front of him was an old guy who could barely push and pull the cart. I felt so bad for the old man. His cart wasn't even full. He only had a couple of items. And the worse thing, I didn't even think to have him go infront of me. I had my stuff on the belt already. I think people need some more Holiday Cheer around here and goodwill to all men.

More fun
Well, today we got to take Connor to his pediatrician because of his size. The Dr. thought that he was small and too skinny for his age. So he sent us to have xrays done on Connor's wrist. It was a lovely loud and obnoxious wait for us in the imaging waiting room. Luckily it only took a few minutes to get the xrays. I will never know what made Connor sit so still. Maybe he was intrigued with the equipment. Now Connor has to drink at least, at least 3 glasses of milk a day. He can't really have juice now because that makes the body think its full and he isn't getting enough calories from it. He really isn't allowed any sugar. How do you deny a 4 yr old sugar around the holidays. I guess he can have a little here and there, he doesn't that much sugar anyway.

Me
Well, these past couple of years have been full of wonderful trials that our family has been able to grow from. And then we have had blessings from those trials. We have been blessed with my being able to stay at home with our children, who really need that right now. We have been blessed with Connor getting into Gilbert Public Schools and qualifying for the program he is in. It has made a big difference in him. We have been blessed with Spencer being able to keep up his grades even though he has Learning Disabilities. We were able to get a van for me to drive so I had a way to get stuff done since Spencer is gone from 7:30 am - 12:30 pm and then 2:00pm-11:00pm everyday. This has taken quite a bit of stress off of me. It was a miracle that we were able to get that van. Finally, we were blessed to finally get Connor diagnosed with ADHD and Autsim. It has been a struggle to get anyone to look at him. When I finally called our health insurance they got me an appointment that sameday I called and most people have to wait months before they get in to see the therapist and psycologist. We have been grateful for all that we have received or have been blessed with. Thank you everyone.
