I decided to to make the kids pink pancakes since it is valentine's day. They are made with beets to get that color. You can't tell that beets are in there. Heather gave me the recipe its awesome!

I know the kids loved their pink pancakes, and they had to have pink milk to go with it. I love that shade of pink that the batter is. And it really isn't that much harder to make than normal pancakes.
no its not really that much harder. Once you have made it a couple of times its easier. That is funny that they want pink milk to go with their pink pancakes. I am suprise that my kids haven't asked for that because they love pink milk!
Give me the recipe sometime. I'd love to try them out. I'll email that picture to ya tonight, keep an eye open.
The book I got it from was called Deceptively Delicious. It is written by Jessica Seinfeld. I checked it out from the library. I plan on buying it cause at buy.com, I found it for $10, that includes shipping!
