Rissa's kids and Rylee helped me wash my car and vacuumed the inside of my car. I really needed the help because I have been so tired and haven't been able to do anything sinceSpencer started clinicals. So Rissa vacuumed the inside and the kids scubbed the outside.

Reflections of Christ
Monday, for family home evening, I took the kids to the visitors center to see Reflections of Christ. It was a wonderful experience I could share with them. Their faces lit up to see so many pictures of Christ and scenes from his life. It was awesome. The lights were dimmed and they had nice music playing. They had lights centered on each painting as to illuminate them. The kids were less rowdy than usual. It was nice to explain the paintings and talk about what was happening in each scene and to see the kids expressions. I need to go again with Spencer and watch the film that goes with it. Every one needs to see this exhibit.

Say Cheese!
I took Rylee to get her pictures done today at Target. I realized it had been a year or more since I had her done by herself. I wasn't worrying about because Connor gets his done at school. So I unfortunatly forgot about her. It was so fun. They lady was awesome and fast. She had Rylee giggling and smiling and posing! She took so many cute poses it was hard to choose just a few. Rylee had fun with it just being her and mommy and doing girly stuff.

Entertainment Tonight
Well, tonight I am going to watch American Idol with the kids. I have to go up and go through stuff and put laundry away and the only good time is to do it when I have them ready for bed and in their beds. So I figured I would just put American Idol on and they can watch with me. They usually don't see shows at night. Well, they don't see tv for that matter, just movies. So this is going to be fun for them. I have to go through boxes because Spencer only has a month left and I have to start packing up and going through things to get ready to move out when its time to do so.

Birthday Maddness
This weekend we had two surprise parties that we through for our mother-in-law. The first we had just family and surprised her with her brothers and sisters. We had an awesome talent show and cake and ice-cream and oh ya dinner was good also. We watched a slide show and asked Darlene some questions about her past. Then Saturday morning some of us went to a temple session together. Saturday night we surprised her with old friends and co-workers. Then today Carlos asked her to speak in sacrament meeting and everyone was invited to attend. It was a full week-end of partying and I am wiped out from it all. I had to do deal with things without Spencer. But I think she enjoyed her week-end.

Great Exercise
Today for my mother-in-law's birthday, Rissa and I thought it would be a good idea to trim her trees. Wow, we didn't know what we were getting ourselves into. She had a lot of dead twigs up inside the tree. The only things were using were hand held clippers and a hack saw. It took a lot of muscle power but we did it. We had a good work out. Now the trees look clean and trimmed. Now we hope she enjoys them. We then cleaned around the trees on the ground and picked up dead fruit. It was fun.

Asthma Sure Is Fun
My kids both this week have had bad asthma attacks. They are on for prescriptions just to keep them breathing. I haven't had sleep in 2 weeks because this all started with allergies which went to an ear infection, which went into asthma attacks. Our wonderful hometeachers brought dinner for me. They are awesome. They brought a rotisseri chicken, pumpkin bread, a ceasar salad, and pasta salad. It was sooo yummy and kids loved it. Then they gave Connor a blessing for me. It helped a lot. All I had to do was clean up their plates and I was done. I really needed it.

Who Is The Best Baby
Brooke White and you know it! Please vote for her people. She was the only one who was not off on American Idol tonight. The only bad thing Simon had to say about her was she was too happy and nice. Isn't she sweet.

5 Sisters and 1 brother
This is a little video of my sisters. I am missing Charissa and of course Aimee, but other than that all of the rest of the sisters are in there somewhere. Joe even made it in :)

Sick Still
Well, we were suppose to go to my nephew Chet's baptism. Rylee was up all night coughing and she sounded really bad. Then, she started gagging on her mucus and then threw up. We were starting to get ready for the baptism and my mother law came out of her room and asked if I needed to thermometer. I guess she could hear Rylee gagging and coughing. So she just ended up taking Connor and Rylee and I just stayed home.

Clips of the hood
I thought it would be nice to take some pics of the neigborhood since it was a beautiful cloudy day. The kids were having fun playing outside that I just had to snap some of these. We went around in my friend Rissa's car and snapped some.

My Valentines
Spencer got me something for valentine's day a little early because he was going to be gone from 4:30 am - 7:00 pm and so we wouldn't get to do anything. He got me a box of chocolates and a big huge stuffed animal. It was cute. I didn't expect to get anything but I did. So, I thought I would surprise him with a steak dinner. SO I went to Fry's and bought a really cheap steak. 2 steaks for 7.89 and they were 13.45 originally. I thought I did good. He was happy. Connor came home from school with a card he made all by himself for me and told me happy valentine's day. It was so sweet!

Being Pulled Over
Today was the first time, ever in my life to be pulled over by a cop. I guess you are suppose to stay when turing left in the inner lane and not go to the far right. Sheesh, I missed that one. I did it right in front of him too. Its funny, I had this feeling that I was going to be pulled over and I didn't even know why. I was looking at him across the intersection and I just came to me. You are going to be pulled over. Well, he got out came to my window and asked for my info and stuff. I gave it to him. I think he knew I was puzzled as to why he pulled me over. He explained that you aren't suppose to turn like I did and I told I didn't know you shouldn't. He said that is ok most people dont turn like they are suppose. He laughed at my age, he thought I was younger than I was. Then he asked my middle name and laughed at me and said I wasn't even going to try that. Then he asked if I have ever had a ticket or been in trouble and I said no. he just laughed at me. I think he was a memeber of the church. He just said Have a good day.

Pink Rice Krispie Treats
When I was at Fry's yesterday, the kids saw pink marshmallows. They ended up being strawberry flavored. I thought it would be cute to make pink rice krispie treats for Valentine's Day. I let the kids make them and they actually did a good job! After we were done making them Connor said, I hope daddy thinks they taste good too. So they pretty much made them for Spencer.

Our Mayberry
We are thankful for the experiences our children can live through our little livestock neigborhood. We have a free petting zoo around here. We decided to take the kids on a walk and let them feed the horses and goats. They were thrilled. Rylee even grabbed a horse by the nose and hugged it. To my surprise the horse didn't mind.

Our Adventurer
Rylee decided to go on an adventure while we were waiting for Connor to get home off his bus. She found dandelions and figured out what you do with them. It was really funny.

Kindergarten Transition
I thought I was done with kindergarten registration, but I was wrong. Since Connor is a special needs student for speech, he doesn't get registered normally. I had to attend a meeting on wednesday night for kindergarten transition. They filled us in on a lot of info. Like what do they expect from your child as he/she is entering kindergarten. What their curriculum will be and what they should be able to do when they move on to first grade. They have 10 different kinds of kindergarten classes. When they figure out which one your child will be entering, you have to go observe the class and take notes and you have to meet with that teacher and talk to them. Wow, I didn't realize what you have to do. And not all Elementaries have those programs so your child may not go to the campus that he/she would normally go to. Its pretty cool though. They all sound awesome and I am open to any of them being decided for my child.

My New Shirt
So, I broke down and got myself a shirt that was new for once. I usually go to thrift stores and get my clothes there. But I have had the hardest time finding something dressy enough for church. And when I do find something, I would have to buy an undershirt to go with it to cover up the personals. And from what I can tell undershirts are really expensive. Well, I decided to go to Seagull Book and get one of their Down East Basics shirts. They have the cutest blouses and shirts. And a lot of them are dressey enough for church!! I was so excited!! And the blouse I got was meant for layering and I already had a camisole that matched it! When we get more money I am going to have so much fun buy some of their shirts. They cover everything. They have so many styles to choose from. They even just got skirts to match their blouses. I am going to save up for a skirt. I only have 2 of them and I am getting kind of tired of them both. I have had them for years. They are getting worn and old.

Yeah For Sick Kids
On top of Connor being in the ER and getting home late, Rylee threw up early this morning. Then she pooped out of her diaper and was covered from head to toe. She I had to clean all that. Then we were suppose to meet Spencer somewhere after his school and on the way Rylee threw up all over the van. All I did today was scrub and wash, scrub and wash. I didn't even get to the laundry that needed to be done today. Ugh. I am tired now.

Three Hours in the E.R.
Last night at around 9 pm I had to take Connor to the Emergency Room. We were there for three hours. That is good compared to what I have had to go through there. It was so sad because there were many babies. That is, of course, because its RSV season and most of the people there were for respiratory problems. Connor ended up with a severe allergic reaction and that is why we were there. They had to a breathing treatment and some steriods. Since they got Connor under control and we were there the last couple of hours just for them to make sure he was well enough to go home, I got to see how it really was in an ER. I don't know how those doctors do it. Its constantly go, go, go. They don't get a seconds peace. They fill in for each other just so they can get breaks. There were a lot of nice people working there and would like to thank them for their happiness even under all the stress they go through.

Have We Not Reason To Rejoice
D&C 59 13-14 :
13 And on this day thou shalt do none other thing, only let thy food be prepared with singleness of heart that thy fasting may be perfect, or, in other words, that thy joy may be full.
14 Verily, this is fasting and prayer, or in other words, rejoicing and prayer.
Deut. 12:7:
7 And there ye shall eat before the LORD your God, and ye shall rejoice in all that ye put your hand unto, ye and your households, wherein the LORD thy God hath blessed thee.

Sleep
I miss sleep. It all started when I got pregnant with Connor. Growing up, I always had sleep problems. But ever since Connor, I have had to miss out on even more sleep. I can't wait until I have my own room. I have to share with Connor and Rylee and I can't do it anymore, but I don't have a choice. Connor and Rylee would not go to sleep for a couple of hours when I tried to go to bed. When we all finally started to go to bed, Connor kept sniffling and coughing. He kept me up all not coughing. Now he is being a little punk since he didn't get any sleep and now I don't have any patience since I didn't get any sleep.

Connor and The Wii
Connor decided to join in with his cousins on Martin Luther King Day and play some Wii. He wasn't too bad at it. It burned some of his energy. He picked it up pretty quickly, and says he wants one. That won't be happening for a while, all though I do suspect we will be getting one sometime down the road.

Double Rainbow
I saw this Rainbow out the kitchen window. I saw it and It was a full rainbow, but then I notice there was one over the top of that one. It was so beautiful that I had to snap one of it. I finally had to run outside in the rain to get this. Yes, I know I am crazy, but when it comes to scenic pics I am a sucker!

Rainy Days Part 2
I forgot to mention that I love the way our state looks when it rains. Its just that I get a migraine when it does get all cloudy, but nothing that a good coke can cure!

Rainy Days
I am not used to this rain. I forgot how it used to do this back in the day. Its so gloomy, but its important that we get his rain. So, I guess its worth the gloominess and the mud and cold wetness if we can get help with our drought.

Funerals
Out of all the funerals I have attended, I think President Hinckley's was my favorite. All the people who spoke truely loved him. There were good memories and also there were tears. It was odd to see the First Presidency with a vacant spot in between them. It was awesome that they were able to sing his songs at his own funeral. He was my Prophet and I will love him forever. I still miss him right now, but when we get the new prophet I will learn to love him as well. P.S the piper was amazing at the graveside!
